por cierto, muy guapo el disco de Za, me parece que no lo habíamos comentado todavía. suena de muerte y muy variado, algo que en directo a veces me tira para atrás y que en disco funciona mejor.

Jonathan Kane - Jet Ear Party
www.sendspace.com/file/ewaitx
@y9w6snp2:
Drummer and visionary multi-instrumentalist Kane was a founding member of No Wave behemoth Swans, then the percussive thunder behind the minimalist ensembles of La Monte Young and the guitar armies of Rhys Chatham. Underlying it all is Kane's complete immersion in the blues. His second release is a masterpiece of raw, ass-thumping Americana. He lunges at breakneck boogies and tom-driven swamp stomps with equal abandon. Forget about The Black Keys; forget about The White Stripes. Merging hip-shake rhythm and lustrous harmonic bliss, Jonathan Kane is single-handedly reinvigorating the blues for the 21st century.
"Somewhere between Sonic Youth and Steve Reich. Interested in the crossroads of new music iconoclasm and experimental rock, he has a drummer's sense of steady dynamic development and an unapologetic love of noise. VirtuosicPor lo que se puede leer en esta reseña del New Yorrk Times, puede resultar un buen disco. Además tiene buenas referencias ya que se publica en Table Of Elements.

Deastro - Moondagger
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?otnbnwqvnum
@17fazo8r:
It's not even a stretch to imagine Deastro's Randolph Chabot once owning a Trapper Keeper overflowing with drawings of verdant kingdoms, threatened by a nasty King of Darkness, and a plucky protagonist battling through vast hordes of fantasy-novel nerdom for the coveted Moondagger. The point-and-click wet dream with the same name sets the 22-year-old Detroit native up as a full-fledged synthpop Link. The Master Synth anyone? Maybe we're not that far off. Chabot did all the artwork for his previous releases and his Myspace denotes his influences with animated gifs of a slobbering Venom or dancing Bugs Bunny.
Moondagger follows the monstrously popular eMusic.com demo compilation Keepers, which Deastro recorded in his parent's basement, and released last year. The full-band lineup now features Jeff Supina (drums), Mark Smak (electric guitar), and Brian Connelly (bass, keyboard). Plus, the album's got a Beach Boys-meets-Armageddon track entitled: “Daniel Johnston Was Stabbed in the Heart with the Moondagger by the King of Darkness and His Ghost Is Writing this Song as a Warning to All of Us." M83 and Dan Deacon fans take heed. There's a new superhero in the skies.
A ver si es verdad lo que pone en la reseña.

BLK JKS - Mystery [Secretly Canadian]

BLK JKS are a South African psychedelic afro rock band that kind of has a TV on the
Radio vibe. Discovered by Diplo while he was on tour in South Africa, they landed on
the cover of Fader, received lots of media attention from the likes of the New York
Times, Billboard and The Guardian and have been on the train to success since.
They recorded 'Mystery' in New York’s famed Electric Lady studios with producer
Brandon Curtis of the Secret Machines and just signed with the label Secretly Canadian.http://rapidshare.com/files/233645154/BLK_JKS_-_Mystery.rar -

Nerve City - I Fucked Death 10" [Kill Shaman, 2009]

@3tumetdi:
Nerve City's first large-format vinyl release brings us 6 brilliant tracks on a 45 RPM 10" EP. Jason Boyer's home recording project mixes low-fi garage, classic doo-wop, noise and reverb to produce a perfect blend of fuzzed out, toe-tappin', head-bangin' garage pop. Boyer's home-recording techniques lend themselves to Nerve City's sound, driving the truly dark and minimal tracks to develop into reverb-laden, distrotion buried pop gems. This is Virginia's finest export… right after tobacco.

The Pink Noise - Alpha Lp
http://rapidshare.com/files/234247387/thepinknoise.rar.html
@3a74y04g:
It makes perfect sense that "Out of place, out of time" would be the opening lyric of the new Pink Noise LP; drums, drum machines, synths, distorted vocals and other junk shop electronics are combined with some of the most cracked, Chrome-damaged guitar I've heard in a long while, and this record is a blast from the past, yet totally original. Elements like these are more often used to make records that leave you shaking your head muttering, "why?" but in these capable hands they sound downright revolutionary. In a time when everyone and their mother seems to have a weird punk, bedroom recording project, I can say without a doubt that this is one of the few worth paying attention to.

Rock Plaza Central - At The Moment Of Our Most Needing, Or If Only They Could Turn Around, They Would Know They Weren’t Alone
http://rapidshare.com/files/233435265/Skrebl.rar
@19j546yy:
"At The Moment Of Our Most Needing, Or If Only They Could Turn Around, They Would Know They Weren’t Alone" is almost a Marnie Stern-like mouthful but also the follow-up to 2006’s critically lauded "Are We Not Horses?" Am I the only one that reads that album title and always thinks of the Houyhnhnms from Guillver's Travels? The fantastic concept album was actually told through the eyes of six-legged robotic horses. Sounds strange but it really worked. Taking a cue from the horses, Toronto's Rock Plaza Central trotted to the greener pastures the Canadian indie label Paper Bag Records.
Equine issues aside, RCP can still fashion one mean brass-laden indie-rock album. Neutral Milk Hotel and Will Oldham comparisons abound but RCP remain unique. Unlike its predecessor, "At The Moment Of Our Most Needing" has a strong influence from William Faulkner’s Light In August. Lead singer and accomplished novelist Chris Eaton expounds upon the concept further: "The Faulkner novel is the story of a young woman, eight-and-a-half months pregnant, who leaves home with big dreams and returns in shame, which she wears with pride, as she searches for her lover/her betrayer/the father of her unborn child". Sounds fitfully epic. The new tracks were produced by Dale Morningstar (Godspeed! You Black Emperor) and recorded during the summer of 2008 at the Gas Station on Toronto Island.
