me cuesta imaginar una peli de Jarmusch con esta banda sonora (mas por Boris, Sunn O))) y The Black Angels que por el flamenco -aunque espero que no sea capaz de meter al Talegón de Cordoba como hilo musical de un bareto fashion de Barcelona-), a ver con qué nos sorprende.
Pues a mi no me parece tan distinto de Broken Flowers, simplemente cambia la música étnica de Mulatu Astatke por el flamenco, y donde ponía Sleep pone Sunn O)))…
hombre, pero de Sleep metía un tema y de Mulatu, dos. Aquí, mete casi mitad y mitad de flamenco y de Sunn O)))/ Boris. Igual entronca más con la oscuridad de la BSO de "Ghost Dog", aunque fuera de hip hop.

This was our limited edition (80 pieces) 14 minutes Spring tour tape. Sorry if we sold out by the time we reached Regina. It's a bunch of instant compositions, in one stream on both sides, unedited (you can even ear some magical quirks within the 'silence' in between the tracks). Although we overdubbed an extra track of vocals on side B. Sounds pretty crusty. Our first official release with Alex in the band! Recorded at the 100-sided Die, February 2009.
The edition tapes were a bit too short, so each side misses about 3 or four seconds off the original master recording... whatever, does the job.

Duo Caphre - BUSTROPFEDIA 3" miniCD single 2009
This hand illustrated 3” from Spain’s Duo Capfre (formerly Duo Caphre) starts like Tom Waits beatboxing in a Dadaist babble submerged in layers of static, obscure bass hums and electronic squiggles and eventually finds its way into a freaky, Krauty groove.
The second track is even more surreal, taking a darker turn with kids singing and screaming over string drones and plucks and what sounds like a vocal digitally stretched beyond meaning, morphing into near formless reverb-laden vocals towards the end.
Both tracks seem curiously cut off, as if they are the severed tentacles of a larger beast.
An enclosed statement from the “Head of Orders” reads “Persons attempting to find a motive in this narrative will be prosecuted. Disco majo majo que va a sonar bastante en casa, habían sacado algún split en el sello bachelor y ahora se desvirgan con su primer largo en Hozac, fuzz pop, bubblegum, 60's style , garage rock, hits instantaneos… a los que les gustan estas cosillas a bajar ya. Y ahora esperar el de Box Elders... ñam ñam
