“From deep in the cosmos of Iowa comes a force known as Mondo Drag! With a wall of sound all their own, an arsenal of guitars, and a head full of clouds, they are on a rock n roll mission all their own. Members Johnnie Cluney, Nolan Girard, John Gamino, Dennis Hockaday, and Jake Sheley find themselves somewhere between garage, psych, space, sludge and stoner rock.
With songs of life, death, love, revenge, and the unknown, they are flying head first into the future with an anchor of reference for the past.
Channeling artists like Pink Floyd, Pentagram, Blue Cheer, even Hendrix just to skip decades for hints of Sonic Youth, Dead Meadow, and Comets on Fire. Since their start Mondo Drag has had the privilege of playing with such artists as: Sleepy Sun, Dead Meadow, Witchcraft, Black Diamond Heavies, Radio Moscow, Jennifer Gentle, The Dodos, La Otracina, Cass McCombs, Cave, Awesome Color, Monotonix, just to name a few.” (from myspace).
Holy Spirit was the haunting debut album by this fine band, however the band spent the months of September and October of 2009 recording a new album, "New Rituals", which is due out on Alive Records in January 2010.

With great sensitivity and an eye for musical finesse, the trio has recorded 13 songs for its latest masterpiece. Availing themselves of traditional music, "Robert Black" is not a matter for conservative purists: with accordion, banjo, washboard, guitar and drums the Swiss overcome traditional genre boundaries and start a wonderful voodoo magic out of zydeco, Cajun, Creole Music and furious Rock’n’Roll, which will delight all fans of earthy, handmade music.

Por parte de los mismos Diploide y Galleta y Purple Tower (los responsables de la otra edición del single), dejamos el single de Diploide para descarga libre (licencia creative commons y esas cosas). Quien quiera puede donar y quien no con un cero redondo de se lo lleva a la butxaca. Decirselo a vuestra vecina!!

The Flying Eyes - The Flying Eyes 2009.
The Flying Eyes are a heavy, psychedelic rock band hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Since they formed in 2007, the group has supported renowned bands such as The Raveonettes, The Black Angels, Witch and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys (during SXSW 2009). The Flying Eyes have also created an annual, home-grown music festival, "Farm Fest", in Manchester, Maryland. This past year they headlined the event, drawing over 400 people to the Carney Farm. They will soon be releasing a full length compilation of their two EPs ("Bad Blood" and "Winter") on the German label Trip in Time/World in Sound Records.

Tengo el del avatar, que es el 7" meat y Golem, que creo que es un 12" pero de una cara, por lo visto. Me parecen la hostia, rollito homostupids pero con ruidaco electrónico de fondo, la hostia vamos
