    Cada vez que paso por un Kebab de esos pienso que está mal escrito lo de Doner y le falta la "r".

    ```@qfqlhwdy:
    > We have been blessed with a massive offering from the gods! For the first time ever the debut recordings of Earth are available in one concise, beautifully documented capsule. ” “A Beaurocratic Desire for Extra Capsular Extraction” contains the entire 1990 Smegma Studios sessions which are the debut recordings from Earth. Previously available scattered via the “Extra Capsular Extractions” EP and “Sunn Amps and Smashed Guitar” CD. This essential collection contains every note from the infamous first Earth recording sessions. All 7 tracks have been carefully remastered by Mell Dettmer. It is actually questionable what mastering if any was done on the original tracks so we entrusted the task into the very capable hands of Mell who has mastered all the other Earth releases via Southern Lord. The result is a more burly, mammoth and crushing audio experience that makes this collection a must have even for the die-hards that own previous versions of these recordings. Includes liner notes from Dylan Carlson with exclusive artwork by Simon Fowler and package design via Stephen O’Malley.
    Towards The Night y Speaking of Shadows, fueron un par de álbumes autopublicados en el 2006 y 2005 respectivamente, limitado a 50 copias. esto es una reedición doble LP/CD remasterizada por Pete Swanson. muy interesante para empezar a conocer a este pakistaní.
    pd: toxinho, te has hecho algún otro blog?
  • De momento tengo el mío bastante parado. Llevo desde agosto sin postear nada debido a mis problemas mentales originados por la larga exposición al Drone.
  • The Fun Years - God Was Like, No
    http://www.mediafire.com/?c816r7a048cht8i
    @1b9gj4qh:
    The Fun Years are responsible for one of our favourite records of the last few years, the magical 'Baby, It's Cold Inside'. This is the much anticipated follow-up, delivering their first new material since an inclusion on Kompakt's Pop Ambient series. Arguably, it's their finest work, evolving the grainy loops and organically constructed drones into a living, breathing mass of intangible yet deeply affecting emotions set somewhere between the majestic blur of Philip Jeck's classical loops and Mogwai's widescreen post-rock, without really sounding like either. After a string of intense recording sessions and road testing the material in odd locations like an air traffic control tower and the guts of a Richard Serra sculpture, 'God was like, No' was finalised, resulting in eight tracks which bend light and sound with a gorgeously tactile and almost kinaesthetic quality. This is best heard on the first side of shorter drone-pop experiments, five tracks which glow and fizz with a matt luminescence, constantly realigning your depth perception as serene layers of synth drone hover in and out of focus, fluttering and disintegrating around blissed, infinite guitar loops not dissimilar to Fennesz's work on 'Endless Summer'. Once we've snapped out of the trance, the other side introduces an altered palette of shapes with a more tensile, frictional relationship. From the subtly dense crescendo of crackle and foreboding gongs in 'And They Think My Name Is Dequan', 'Get Out Of The Obese Crowd' sinks fathoms deep into gruffly distorted textures and stays there until the tidal waves of cathartic ambient noise in 'Precious Persecution Complex' gradually subside.
  • Amigos droneros (glups):
    en uno de mis escasos y esporádicos acercamientos al género, estoy volando bastante en los últimos días a lomos de Grouper (aceptamos como drone, por cierto?). Trataré de rastrear el post, pero recomendaciones específicas sobre por dónde escarbar en esa dirección serán más que bienvenidas
  • Mira que si me pongo con Grouper no paro. Tengo unha gran devoción/debilidad por todo lo que edita esta mujer, pero sin duda con sus dos últimos discos: "Wide" y "Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill" se me eriza el vello. También tiene unos cuantos 7'' y ahí te recomiendo el "Hold/Sick" y el compartido con Xela "Tsuiki No Seika Vol. 1". Si te gusta, también le puedes dar una oportunidad a una chica llamada Julianna Barwick (me tiene enamorado), de la que te recomiendo que escuches el "Florine".
    También te diría que escucharas el primero de Grouper, para que veas como empezó.
    Se acabó la chapa
  • alguien se ha escuchado ya el de Earth? yo lo empecé el otro dia y a los dos segundos me di cuenta de que no era el momento y lo quité.
  • gorgeous
