Sin estar tan metido en el indie y lo hipster como él, ni tener un sesgo hacia lo tejano (Austin, básicamente) suelo compartir las elecciones de este hombre. Al fin y al cabo veo a un tio que estaba totalmente metido en el rap que abrió sus orejas a prácticamente todo al largo de los años y me identifico bastante. Raekwon ahi arriba… perfecto. Yo creo que también le metería el primero.

Christopher Owens, Girls.

1. Without having to think I start typing about Yes, the album released By the Pet Shop Boys this year. It's super, it's fun and it's big and strong, like all the best things.

2. My immediate number two is Cass McCombs Catacombs. Cass is one of my favourite song writers, I feel lucky to be able to call him my friend and an influence, this is one of his best so far.

3. Smith Westerns Smith Westerns is definitely three for me, these boys are the future of pop rock, all I can say is look out for album two.

4. I love Dinosaur Junior's new one Farm, I had the pleasure of seeing them play this year and really enjoyed it, I think they're really innovative with their music and it's just great guitar rock.

5. My 5th would have to be Real Estate's Real Estate, I love to pop a couple good ones and just chill to this, great guys writing great songs and performing them tastefully, get into it baby.
