    Los dUASsEMIcOLCHEIASiNVERTIDAS (dSCI o "dos semi corcheas invertidas") son un colectivo de terapeutas del ruido ubicado en Lisboa (Portugal). Se formó en 2007 cuando músicos de diferentes proyectos empezaron a juntarse para liberarse de tensiones y frustraciones de lo cotidiano.
    Actualmente el colectivo está constituido por Boris (cuatro cuerdas & doble personalidad), Desmarques (guitarra & feedbacks anestésicos), X (teclados, saxofone & efectos secundarios) y Gee Bees (bateria & hiperritmia), a los que a veces se juntan Trigueiros (batería & arritmia), Flapi (vientos & hiperventilaciones), soRRisoeMeio (malabarismos & contorsiones) o cualquier otro músico dispuesto a hacer ruido. El sonido que producen es instrumental e improbable. Con la improvisación como base, no se relaciona de forma concreta con ningún estilo ya definido. Oscila entre el rock y el post-rock, el punk y el post-punk, el jazz y el free jazz, el noise y el easy listening. Se encuentra en la misma línea de grupos tales como **Zu, **Ultralyd o **Laddio Bolocko.

    Es en directo donde su ruido mejor revela sus capacidades terapéuticas, en conciertos salvajes e intensos donde lo imprevisto es la única garantía.

    Sagrados Corazones es el nuevo proyecto formado por Javi y Miguel (Chien!) , y Oscar (Au, Plonk Moist, entre otros) -todos ellos componentes integrales de la “escena” Noise/Experimental de Madrid-, y responsables de algunos de los sonidos más interesantes y arriesgados que se han podido escuchar en la capital en los últimos años.
    Este concierto supone su primera actuación en directo, y promete traer una mezcla salvaje entre el No-Wave, el Noise y el Avant-Rock, tomando referencias de grupos como **Wolf Eyes, **Mouthus y **Harry Pussy.

    Tal y como nos han enseñado en Au y Chien! su música se fabrica sin límites, siguiendo caminos que pueden parecer no convencionales y muy exigentes a primera vista, pero que resultan tanto más gratificantes una vez sumergidos en ellos.

    _Oxbow is a long-lived avant-garde band formed in 1988 in San Francisco, California that is notable for their prolific touring and unique sound. Oxbow plays a blend of noise rock, avant-garde jazz, musique concrète and blues, creating soundscapes caustic, or plangent, with overtones of paranoia, revulsion, exaltation.

    Followed by King of the Jews, The menacing The Balls in the Great Meat Grinder Collection also appeared in 1992, and after 1995’s Steve Albini-produced Let Me Be a Woman, Oxbow signed to the SST label for 1997’s Serenade in Red, which featured guest vocals from Marianne Faithfull. They released a split EP with the Italian band White Tornado in 1999, followed by An Evil Heat in 2002. The compilation Love That’s Last: A Wholly Hypnographic and Disturbing Work Regarding Oxbow arrived in 2006._

    Hailing from Chicago, Disappears play minimal rock music. Drawing on a combined
    reverence for reverb, heavy tremolo, distortion, delay and repetition. Playing
    off a contrast between rhythmic drive and space but with more noise and a
    shouted staccato vocal style. Where their mix of Velvet Underground scuzz and
    krautrock propulsion on debut Lux was pretty melodic, on Guider they're more
    interested in being hypnotic. Meshing the post-punk approach of Wire with drug
    rock grooves of Spacemen 3 and some solo Brian Eno moments in a kind of
    aggressive cosmic rock style. Loud and raw.

    Following the departure of drummer and cofounding member Graeme Gibson,
    Disappears will be performing tonight with their new drummer, Steve Shelley
    (Sonic Youth).

    A leading figure of the new/weird folk movement, Six Organs of Admittance is the
    primary music project of guitarist Ben Chasney. Many of you will know Chasney as
    the guitar player in psych rock legends Comets on Fire, or more recently the
    three way freak out of Rangda (featuring Richard Bishop of Sun City Girls and
    Chris Corsano). Tonight he will be performing a rare UK solo show as Six Organs
    of Admittance. The largely acoustic based songs are hazy and hypnotic, a
    delightful combination of delicate fingerpicking, expansive drones and
    psychedelia concrète. This is sun drenched acid-folk at its finest.

    Support comes from Bristol's very own sonic visionaries, Thought Forms (Invada
    Records). A marriage of loose and swirling experimentalism and alt-rock riffage,
    Thought Forms are an intense and mesmerising live band, and have shared bills
    with the likes of Mogwai, Acid Mothers Temple and Bardo Pond, among many others.
    This is how post rock should sound.

    After stealing the show at St Bonaventures last year with Charlie Parr, Frank
    Fairfield now hits The Cube, topping the bill on a night of street-singing new
    school troubadours for early summer also featuring the intoxicating street band
    spirit of Tim Hill as World Unknown, and the redoubtable rustic charm of My Two
    Toms.

    Frank Fairfield is "the sort of person who makes you glad to be alive" (The
    Guardian)... a man who lives and breathes it, rarely separated from his guitar
    and fiddle, and in possession of a seemingly limitless repertoire of songs, a
    fine crop of which are evidenced on his new album for Tompkins Square.

    World Unknown is an incredible musical mix of old world and new by Tim Hill
    (Tongues of Fire), one of the finest street band leaders in the country. My Two
    Toms start things off, plying their wordless post-Takoma micro-glories for
    guitar, banjo and ukelele that sound all the sweeter in summer's haze. Plus
    Shellac Sound DJs dropping dusty gramophone 78s in the bar.
