The humid Middle Eastern shakes of ‘Dance of the Cedars’ are a perfect counterpoint to the gorgeous 12-string bliss of ‘Inner Redoubt’ and the electrically charged reverse-drone of ‘Reversionary Tactics’. ‘Intermezzo’ almost feels like a great mixtape, but one with a cautious narrative hand – the tracks never sound too disjointed from one another, rather they tell a tale, and it’s one that you’ll want to sink into time and time again.

For the last 4 decades, R Stevie has been making albums and creating an impressive back catalogue. That back catalogue consists of over 500 albums.
