si añades que son un trío formado por sir richard bishop (sun city girls), ben chasny (comets on fire, six organs of admittance) y chris corsano (six organs of admittance, dimension x) ya lo bordas.

Ringo Deathstarr formed in 2007 in their native Austin, Texas channeling influences such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Swirlies and the Jesus and Mary Chain. They initially released a batch of singles on both sides of the Atlantic and in Japan – a self-titled EP in 2007 and in 2009, a brace of 7”s in the States, You Don’t Listen & In Love.
Their critically acclaimed debut album, Colour Trip, was released in February 2011 and a compilation of their early singles, Sparkler, which had initially been available in Japan only, was released in the autumn of 2011. Their latest album, Mauve, produced by Elliott Frazier from the band, was recorded at The Bubble in Austin, Texas and Skylab in Los Angeles in the spring of 2012.

Melody’s Echo Chamber is the name given to the work of Paris-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Melody Prochet. Possessing a penchant for wild-eyed psychedelia, homespun motorik rhythm and an effortless flair for the sort of melodic classicism redolent of chamber song, Prochet is at once both an aficionado of pop’s outer limits and off-kilter to its expectations.
Her eponymous debut album, recorded between Perth (with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker) and her grandparents’ beach house in Cavalière in France, is due for release through Weird World in the autumn of 2012. More news to follow very soon!

The Lovely Eggs return with their third album ‘WILDLIFE’ after a year and a half touring their critically acclaimed second album ‘COB DOMINOS’. This time the Eggs return with an album that encapsulates the isolation of extensive touring and brief time back in their home town Lancaster.
The two piece raucous noise pop duo combine their gritty British northern surreal lyrics with thunderous guitars and crashing drums on this their third self-recorded gem. Working alongside Gruff Rhys who produced Allergies and Cornershop’s Tjinder Singh who has remixed Food for a special digital download, Wildlife is yet another wonderful and unique album from a band who continue to cement their reputation as one of the most genuinely exciting and essential bands around today.

The consistent thread throughout this record is loss. The love songs are largely emotive reflections of the 'political' songs. All written through the distillation of events since the economic calamity of 2008 and it's insidiously long looming shadow. I've seen first hand the kind of devastation this crisis has wrecked upon much of the world I've toured these last few years. The shut-down-shops and foreclosed homes on the suburban fringes as I've made my way to and from cities I've played. This record is a personal reflection of the crisis we've all witnessed and read about every day in the paper. Calling it Reckon is an acknowledgement of loss … lost jobs, lost homes, loss of faith in our political and financial institutions and in turn, loss of illusion.
It seems politics are unavoidable if you choose to write about or engage with the world in front of you. I didn't set out to make a record with these overtones, but neither did I try to stop it. I just did my best to avoid the shrill rhetoric that makes most political songwriting unlistenable.
There's a poetic serendipity to the fact that I started recording this record during the same month that Occupy Wall Street began. I have felt a genuine solidarity with the passion of this movement in these precarious and volatile times.
