Festivales ATP (All Tomorrow's Parties)

Today ATP is proud to announce Portishead and Interpol as the first headline acts for ATP Iceland 2014. Neither act has performed in the country before, and ATP Iceland is very happy to be the first to bring them over.
ATP founder Barry Hogan "Portishead have a rich history and close relationship with us, which started with them curating ATP back in 2007 after a long live-hiatus and being the first ever curators for the I'll Be Your Mirror series. Interpol on the other hand, while being long-time ATP favourites, have never played the event, and it's an exciting prospect that the eagerly awaited second Icelandic ATP will be their first."
Portishead headline July 11th and Interpol headline July 12th alongside Icelandic acts Sóley, For a Minor Reflection, Samaris, Low Roar, and Mammút. Over the coming weeks, we have a large selection of international and Icelandic acts to be revealed as well.
ATP Iceland is also expanding into a takeover week of events starting on July 7th in Reykjavík, with live concerts, an ATP Recordings showcase, art exhibitions, an ATP store, DJs and film screenings leading into the festival which starts on July 10th at Ásbrú (former NATO base) in Keflavík (details to be announced soon).

Está todo más visto que la ostia. A Forest swords los vi en el último de noviembre y bah, un poco flojo. Se va a quedar esto muy por debajo del nivel de los "end of an era".

Sí, hay que comprar entrada aparte. Además no me lo pierdo de milagro, llego justo ese día por la tarde. Pero con éste solo ya me arreglan el viaje por la parte de conciertos.

parece que al final hubo algun problema con el queen elizabeth olympic park y lo han movido al excel.
la verdad es que no parece el sitio mas adecuado para un festi pero dicen que lo habilitaran para que el sonido sea decente. veremos.

A ver si anuncian un par de cosas mas que me pueden gustar. Aunque esta el mismo fin de semana que La Route du Rock y según los grupos que tienen, podría ser interesante volver allá.
