El mejor solo de guitarra de la historia es el de "Stairway to Heaven", de Led Zeppelin
Qué grande es la escena (no incluída en el metraje original por no poder conseguir los derechos) de "Almost Famous" en la que William toca con su guitarra "Stairway to Heaven" a su madre, consiguiendo convencerla para dejarle ir de parranda. Momento gallina de piel.

Aunque como guitarrea Page me vuelve loco, la verdad es que nunca he podido entender las pasiones que desata Starway To Heaven… encuentro que los Zepp tienen un buen fajo de temas muchísimo mejores... en fin, que grandes joder.

Desde que oí por primera vez a los Ramones he odiado los solos de guitarra sobre todos esos de estilo épico, ahora bién también digo que el mejor punteo de guitarra que conozco es el de la canción "Almost with you" de The Church, recomiendo su escucha pués vale tanto como la discografía entera de mucha gente. Es perfecto el tio va construyendo un bellísimo fraseado in crescendo que explota al final como fuegos artificiales y termina en una pausa, como si fuera un polvo vamos.

Legendary postpunk rockers regroup to record two new tracks that will appear on a retrospective CD due in June.
The surviving members of legendary postpunk band the Replacements have reunited to record their first new songs in 16 years.
The Replacements, reunited.
Singer/guitarist Paul Westerberg, bassist Tommy Stinson, and drummer Chris Mars convened in the band's Minneapolis hometown to record "Message to the Boys" and "Pool & Dive." The Westerberg-written tunes will appear on the retrospective CD, Don't You Know Who I Think I Was?: The Best of the Replacements, due June 13 via archival label Rhino Records.
Session drummer Josh Freese, who has worked previously with Westerberg, was behind the kit for the new recordings, while Mars contributed backing vocals. Original guitarist Bob Stinson, Tommy's brother, died of a drug overdose in 1995, four years after the band broke up without ever achieving mainstream commercial success.
Sources said the long-awaited Replacements boxed set is still in the planning stages and will not be out until 2007 at the earliest. Rhino is also working on expanded editions of the Replacements' albums, but no release date has yet been announced for those packages either._

Nos llegan los primeros comunicados preliminares informando que Robert Smith (cantante líder de la banda The Cure) está intentando detener la producción del álbum "Playing The Angel". Se dice, a través de distintas fuentes, que a Robert le preocupa que el personaje de "Mister Feathers" creado por Anton Corbijn para la portada de "Playing The Angel" guarda algo más que un parecido razonable con la portada del single de The Cure "Boys Don't Cry".
